Meet Bill Daniels
The Innovator Behind
Code Red Guard

Bill Daniels, the driving force behind Code Red Guard, began his journey in the fields of Ocilla, Georgia, managing peanut and cotton farms with his brother.  In 1993, after several challenging years in farming, he decided to pursue a new venture, and founded Daniels Welding Services.

Growing a Business—and a Reputation

Equipped with a small portable welder, but fueled by an abundance of determination, Daniels quickly grew from a solo venture into a thriving business with a reputation for quality that reached beyond his local area.

Through subcontracting opportunities, Daniels and his crew traveled from Georgia to locations throughout the Eastern U.S. working on projects for the United States military.  These eight years filled with military related projects further expanded Daniels knowledge and experiences while strengthening his work ethic and ability to develop innovative solutions.

Witnessing Increasing Incidents of Violence

During this time, Daniels, like the rest of the nation, witnessed what happened at Columbine and realized life as we knew it would never be the same. In the years that followed, tragically the incidents of school shootings in the U.S. became more and more frequent. Then, in February 2018, the tragedy at Parkland occurred, the deadliest mass shooting at a high school in U.S. history.

Responding to a Call

In 2019, more than 25 years after he founded Daniels Welding, Daniels decided he needed to use his skills to make a difference and to help protect schools, children and teachers. Fueled by this mission, Daniels founded Code Red Guard, drawing on decades of experience to develop and offer the best door safety systems for schools – while making his solution affordable and easy to use.
